What got you into mugen?

Videos on YouTube.

Found it around 2008 I think. Can't remember exactly where but I remember it blew my mind that I could put anybody from anywhere into a game together to duke it out.

my brother told me about it and i was immediately obsessed with it.

And I want to have a game that you can play Street Fighter characters KOF characters Tekken characters and some anime characters and others game characters and some originals characters in the same game

Definetly i found mugen trough youtube videos, but i stayed for the infinite possibilities of the engine.

I think i was a wee child and i looked up "Homer vs peter griffin" and found a mugen video, which got me down a rabbit hole.
Thats what i can remember.
I stayed since now i'm all for customization and creativity.

Watching the youtube video made me Mugen interested.
It's just recently.

I just wanted to make my own crossover game for starters, but didn't have any idea how. Then I remembered seeing some cool videos on youtube using sprites from various 2D fighting games, watched it again, found out if was Mugen, and then went from there tbh.

my best friend talked about it once in our Discord server and i just had to search it up

A cybershell (youtube channel, not program.) video. had know about mugen for quite some time before though.

The insane amount of characters you can add

Fight Night on YouTube, first I've ever even heard of it, been obsessed since.

IIRC it was Joel's first MUGEN stream, the one where he made Duane fight everybody.

Saltybet firmly cemented me into mugen culture, but I always knew about it beforehand.

AfroSenju's mugen series is pretty interesting as he has not only anime characters, he also has like cartoon characters and others as well.

I've first heard about MUGEN in 2007, and played it for the first time in 2008. I liked the idea I can have literally any character go up against each other at any place I want. It's one of my most played games on PC.

I got into mugen thanks to the old mugen content creator judgespear he videos where fun and got me into mugen

honestly i just saw some anime character on youtube and jump force is pretty sucky imo so i got mugen and loved it so much :0
