In what way were you introduced to M.U.G.E.N?

How did you find out about it?

I LOVED dragon ball z games when I was very young, I was looking all around for any kind of dbz game, no matter how bad it is, I enjoyed the heck out of it.
Then I found those mugen dbz games with tons of characters! and they all so over the top!! doing all kind of flashy moves! it was like a dream come true :3

I got into this after hearing about SaltyBet

I got into Mugen from a youtuber AfroSenju. It looked fun to play as any character.

It was ten years ago, i was searching for.. um.. some 18+ games and i found a full game called the queen of.. don't matter...
So after some research i have discovered it was in the truth a mugen engine heehee :drool:

i searched for anime games on yt and found some games with mugen engine.

Saw the video of Rare akuma beats up many other pot's character

and then i was like 'wtf?' lmao

I've known about it for a while but I was inspired to make ny first mugen by watching a YouTuber known as Afrosenju.

When I was young I was lurking in those software download pages and I found a MUGEN game called Isamu. I fell in love with mugen, but the years went by until I decided to customize my own to my liking. (Just now)

LMAO me too!!! I saw Afro playing mugen and thought it was awesome. Went on to finding my own MUGEN.

I found out about mugen on Youtube back in 2008. I tried it out on 2012. But it wasn't until 2015 where my roster starting growing.

on YouTube I got recommended one of TheMattalpocalypse's Random Mugen Battle videos, and I was really curious how I could set up these fights myself so I googled "MUGEN free download" and injected a virus onto my computer trying to get MUGEN 1.0

I dont remember the youtuber, but i saw them playing it in a recommended video and thought it looked suuper fun

i watched Afrosenju play and it looked really fun so I wanted to download it

I looking for free version of Marvel vs Capcom 2 and found mugen it the code and the creative like about it.

I used to sneak onto my brother's computer to see what cool things he had on it. I found the mugen logo and thought it looked and sounded interesting so i clicked it, I didnt expect it to be so fun to play so i went back on my own and downloaded it. Think that was around 2014 or so but I recently found out about afrosenju and i was brought back here.

Youtube videos, those were the days

I found MUGEN through Youtube many years ago, by chance. I watched a lot of videos from several channels and I thought MUGEN was pretty cool.

There was a character called Dark Storm K I found on the youtubes. He was cool as balls and I had to play him.

Found out about it through Youtube, don't remember how, but I loved it and tried to play it. Failed miserably and gave up, a year or two later I figured out how it works. Come to today and.....yeah.

I knew because of the Wikia and the fact The Spriters Resource put a disclaimer not to upload (among other things) sprites ripped from MUGEN that aren't the things Elecbyte built into it.

I think it was through Youtube videos... I was amazed

I was looking into how fighting games were made once and found it on a list of engines. I looked up some gameplay for it and thought it looked wild

I saw the Maxamilian Dood vid where they simulated 4v4 fights and it look like a lot of fun, and a few days later found my arcade stick and knew i had to try it out :very_good:

I accidentally clicked on a random YouTube video and it really pulled me in so easily

I saw it on youtube when i was about 12 or 13 and thought it was really cool but i didn't have a laptop at the time (or knowledge) to do it so i kinda brushed it off to the side until a month ago when i got a laptop the first thing i did was download and figure out how to do mugen and I did it and still to this day think its one of the coolest things ever. (sucks i cant download anything today tho i kinda set up a tournament at my school for tomorrow at lunch and a lot of people are going to be mad at me when they find out i only have 2 characters even though they told me who they wanted

From what I can recall, it was from a YouTube video that had Twilight Sparkle and Tails fighting on a dystopian stage

I found out about M.U.G.E.N Through Afrosenju on youtube.

I found out bout it cause my used to be friend used to play it and id always go over to play with him

I watched a youtuber by the name of AfroSenju and he would always upload videos about Mugen Megamix so after watching his gameplay and loving all the characters that were possible in the game i knew i had to try to get this game

Saw many MUGEN youtube videos long time ago.Thought the concept of playing with many different characters was pretty cool.

I watched a video on YouTube about Rivals of Aether showcasing Golden Ronald. After that, I saw a MUGEN video about Ronald. I got curious about what MUGEN is so I searched it on Google and downloaded it.

I saw a youtube video of Ryu fighting Scorpion so I decided I needed to figure out what it was and looked in the comments.
Since then, I've been dying to play and make my own fighting games using all of my favorite characters.

I watched a youtube video of someone using Dio from Jojo and I was like woah thats cool and here I am
