The King of Fighters '96.
Many people love '97, '98 and other games that came after it. That is completely understandable. However, i still feel fond of '96 for some reason. Besides, it's the first KOF game to have introduced combos so, i like that improvement.
New Club Penguin (private server)
Elden Ring "Convergence" mod
Adds over 300 new spells, new bosses, armor, weapons, areas, etc. (the base game only had 100 spells)
Quite fun so far
Not sure if it was in the base game, or if its part of the mod, but I found this awesome tree:

SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.
It's not the best, but not the worst, it's just eh. Could have been improved and better.
On the positive side, i am glad it has a cancelling moves system like in KOF 2002, and that Kyo has his special from 2000 together with →↘↓↘→+HP as an ender for the ↓↘→+HP, →↘↓↙←+HP, →+HP. I like the idea of Violent Ken, because Evil Ryu IS official, but Ken never had any bad/evil side of sorts from what i recall. Orochi Iori vs Violent Ken makes a great battle.
And as old the game is (even if age doesn't define quality of something), i have always wondered... Why is Genjuro in the game, but Haohmaru isn't? Despite my weak knowledge of SS, i found that unfair. Maybe the reasons are that they had no ideas for his dialogues or something, but i still found it a bit stupid, knowing that they are protagonist and rival so, for me at least, it just feels strange having a rival in the game, but not a protagonist. I think they have a reason, no matter what it may be, i don't believe they excluded him for no reason.
Yeah, Capcom vs SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 is a way better game, i would agree on that without thinking twice. Even if SVC Chaos does have some pros, and i liked some things in it. Maybe it could be said that the idea/concept was good, but the execution was not satisfactory.
Plants vs Zombies GOTY Edition, Streets of Rage 4, Mushihimesama
SVC Chaos is not a bad game, it was jst made at a very bad time so the budget was almost none existent.
Of course compared to CVS2 it's a let down. It's a very stiff playing game, subpar graphics for 2003 standards. Yet i love it. i like way more than CVS.
High level footage from Fightcade is amazing to watch.
i play resident evil 5, extra content.
I started the King of fighters '94 with hero team but i loose every time
I'm halfway through Super Mario Bros. 3.
i am playing "busca minas"
The Last Blade 1 & 2 because Moriya Minakata is one of my favorite SNK characters.
Genshin Impact.
a game that's making me addicted into Gacha games, also relying on how much luck i have via paimon.moe.
Tip: wait until 1 hour so the history is updated and you might get a random character like what happened where i got both Xingqiu and Kirara (a Sub DPS and a Shielder).
KOF2002UM with my favorites: Jhun Hoon, Ramon and Ryuji Yamazaki.
resident evil 2 for ps5 man it looks awesome compared to the old and chunky ps1 version how could people call it a legend the older one is simply unplayable plain and boring even ridiculous i dont even need to play it just the videos on youtube are enough to give me nausea those zombies look so ridiculous
Going through the original Syphon Filter trilogy. Just finished the second game last night, still one of my all time favorites.
Gonna start the third one tonight
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. Great game, i enjoy it a lot despite some of its flaws that are hard to ignore and overlook. I've played better and worse, but NGBC is one of better games for me in my opinion. No, i do not consider it the best, but for me, good enough, if that makes sense.
It does SOMEWHAT play like KOF because every character has the same gameplay, if that makes sense. Samurai Shodown, for example, has that A+B at the same time for a stronger attack (every button, separately, does small damage in most SS games, but not all of them are the same), but in NGBC, SS and other SNK characters play normally, low punch and low kick do small damage, high punch and high kick do more damage.
But unlike KOF, it does NOT have blowback. Dashing costs little of your bars, just like SVC Chaos does. Its dash is different from KOF, in KOF games, dashing costs nothing. However, if that makes sense, just like how in KOF, you can cancel your guard into blowback, NGBC has cancelling guard into switch, and the way characters attack does resemble KOF's blowback attacks.
NGBC is also 2-on-2 game, unlike KOF, which is 3-on-3.
One similar thing though, NGBC allows you to switch your characters while fighting, just like in KOF 2003 and KOF XI. (even though KOF XI came later)
Oh, and EVERY NGBC character can perform Super Cancel, as far as i know. (Genjuro can Super Cancel? Moriya can Super Cancel? Cool stuff.) Super Cancel is known to be a famous and very useful feature in KOF games.
To second question: Yes.
NGBC has characters from following SNK series:
The King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Samurai Shodown, The Last Blade, Metal Slug, Aggressors of Dark Kombat, World Heroes.
But NGBC also has some original characters that are NGBC exclusive. (unless if SNK brings them back)
Sorry if i'm vague by the way, i answered from what i remembered.
Just some recent things I've been playing have been Unpacking, Inscryption, Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, Mugen (ofc), Overcooked 2, and Cooking Simulator. Waiting for Sonic Frontiers to drop the third update next month.
Just picked up Forza Horizon 4, amazing game
I just got House Flipper, needless to say I'm hooked and 100% getting the 2nd game when it comes out in December.
Playing Dino Crisis 2 for the first time and i'm loving it
Currently I'm 53% into Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. I've been uploading my playthrough of the game to YouTube and so far, I've suffered the most on Aqua Star.
Recently played Tekken 5 on the arcades.
It may be garbage to most, but Overwatch 2 is one of them I'm currently playing (I hadn't played OW since OW1, but I don't mind it at all).
Otherwise, Pokemon Blue for a Nuzlocke, VRChat (Because why not), and osu!lazer and/or Quaver (Etterna not so often due to a bug yet to be fixed).
Genshin Impact:
Lucky that i got Keqing on the Beginners' Wish banner being F2P :P, now i'm that person type :P
A good while ago, I snipped Pillars of Eternity at(I believe) 60% off, been playing it since & it's probably my favorite game on the switch now.
When I'm not playing Pillars, I'm doing another pulse-less Ironman run on FE:TH, this time the Verdant Wind Route.(& yes, Ferdinand is still winning the white Heron Cup, I want him to be as untouchable as possible because dodge-tank is bestest tank.)
Started playing 60 seconds reatomized again, along with picking up some heavily modded Stardew Valley.
Can confirm, both are fun.
Yomi Hustle and Limbus Company, both free and recommended
Currently playing through Dead Island for the very first time. I'm loving it so much. Just entered the Jungle area a few minutes ago. Can't believe i've never played it before. it's so bada$$.
Right now i'm going with a classic after 10 years since last time i played, God Hand.
Played some The King of Fighters XI with my favorite blondes, Benimaru Nikaido, Ramon and Shen Woo. (In that order. Benimaru as the leader.)
I'm currently on hiatus from Mugen, but I'm still playing some games like Summoners War and Gems of War.
