What MUGEN version do you guys prefer?

What MUGEN version do you guys prefer? Be it for fun, gameplay, freedom, versatility, etc.?:dirol:

1.0 of course

I play 1.1 beta 1. So far I am liking it. I have used Winmugen and Mugen 1.0 in the past.

I use 1.1. I always use the latest version

I'm more of a Mugen Fighting Jam 1.1 type of guy myself,I find the intro pretty cool too.

Mugen 1.1 for sure :V

I wish I can just use 1.1. It looks so cool wit6h the zoomn feature.

Nah I think though you should honestly stick with 1.0 for most cases. 1.1 is a great MUGEN version, don't get me wrong, it's just that it's still in it's beta fase and that means it can be unstable often times.

1.1 cause it 1.0 lags for me

I have all three, but I use 1.1 the most

I use 1.0 since my pc doesn't have Opengl and 1.1 is lagging me a lot.
But I also use WinMugen to work.

Mugen 1.1
I had my doubt about upgrading from 1.0 to 1.1, but after applying the 4gb "patch" the version es very stable and compatible.

Currently most of the chars in the archive are compatible with 1.1, unless the notes state the char is tied to an specific version, and yet es easier to find someone convert those chars to the 1.1. version. Converting chars from 1.1 to older version is harder because new version include new code options, replacing the those new codes with the old code makes the character bug or crash the engine.

I recently discover an old Mugen Windows char incompatible with Mugen 1.0 actually works in Mugen 1.1, funny enough the notes of such char never mentions someone editing the original char to make it work in Mugen 1.1

Also Mugen 1.1 fix a annoying bug with the stages where some elements show with a blackline in Mugen 1.0, this bug was very common. Also return the lost stage feature to scale down the characters so you can fight giant bosses ( this feature was loss in mugen 1.0)

I see many people complain the mugen crashes a lot, but in my personal experience, the crashes are caused due poor programed chars (mostly from edits from people who only know hoe edit the char, but lack the expertise to create a complete char). Im mostly using the releases from the original authors and my mugen is SUPER estable.

1.1, simply cause the zoom feature is cool and everything from previous versions (for the most part) work with 1.1.

Mugen 1.1 ... Supports more content and is the last version that came out.
Using Mugen 1.0 these days can restrict you too much.

Mugen 1.1 without a shadow of doubt. It does the same as its predecessors and also has new features.

1.0. No specific reason why.

I guess you may say 1.1 is superior, but i'm mostly used to 1.0 so, i guess i will choose that one. I didn't play 1.1 that much.

I've only ever really used 1.1. From what I understand it's the latest version. I kind of wanted to explore Ikemen but it felt way too complicated. 1.0 and Winmugen also feel kind of redundant to go back to, especially since 1.1 would support the content developed for those versions.

There is a lot of misconception regarding the different versions of Mugen.
When 1.1 was released to the public, there were many older mugen community members on other well known forums we dont need to name drop that campaigned mugen version X being better than Y etc for no real fact based reason.

1.1 and Winmugen because there is no 1.1 on ps3 and i prefer playing on ps3 but now i mostly play on pc

1.1 is the one I'm used to
and with its 4gb patch, it looks good.

i use a lot the version 1.0 than 1.1, so 1.0 is my favorite umgen version i guess.....

Always used Mugen 1.1, but recently switched to Ikemen and have definitely enjoyed the switch, theres a lot of capabilities with the Ikemen Go engine thats currently being developed

1.0, I always end up prefering that version because it's the one with the most compatible stuff I can find, so I feel safe when using it

I like 1.1, but I don't mind 1.0 or Winmugen. I also think Ikemen_Go is cool too.

I use Mugen 1.1 alot since i like the zoom feature and its much less laggy and quicker for me to pick up than ikemen or mugen 1.0
