THIS IS HOW YOU EAT A BIG MAC meme.
A long time ago i discovered mugen on some youtube videos. years later as i was live streaming The Last Blade 2 a mugen video popped up in my recommended then boom i got into mugen
atleast i think thats how it happened
Heard about it from an anime youtube video
I met Mugen just because I wanted to play something on my pc lmao
I started MUGEN because I saw MUGEN's video on YouTube and found it very interesting.
saw a youtube video and it all snowball right there
i watched afrosenju and he played lots of mugen.
Well, I remember seeing MUGEN when I was like really young. I think the first video I had watch was Princess Peach vs Princess Toadstool.
I didn't even think about game itself, I always thought how weird the fights were.
Then I watched Pingu combos and an Arcade run with the player playing as Pingu.
It wouldn't be until I saw Cybershell's live stream on YouTube where he would just let the AI fight and decided to try out MUGEN and get things working.
When I got the game and booted it up for the first time, I didn't have any custom characters in my roster and just wanted to see how things work.
Controls reminded me of when I had to learn how to combo in UMvC3, since I always played the MK games. Got used to it in a minute, but didn't quite understand how to do combos in the air.
I downloaded characters such as CM Punk, Pingu, and Donald. I played as CM Punk first because I thought it was weird to play as a really well made WWE character in MUGEN (I thought the idea of a WWE character in MUGEN was weird mostly), I learned how to do ground to aerial combos with that character and tried to do that with other characters.
I then played as Pingu since I really wanted to learn how to play as Pingu. I couldn't do aerials with him, but I didn't care because his hilarious, broken, and fun Supers make up for it.
I'm so glad I am finally playing MUGEN.
I saw screw attack's video on Jotaro VS Kenshiro and I noticed that it was a mugen animation so I downloaded kenshiro and JoJo Heritage for the future
I met Mugen in a tutorial on "create your own fighting game" on YouTube, and I was very interested as I could make characters from other games and series fight each other, in addition to meeting characters that I had never seen.
No doubt, Mugen is the best game I've ever seen. :very_good::clapping:
It was back in 2011 i think, and i saw a video of Homer fighting Goku, something like that. So i obviously wanted to play that. Thats how i found about mugen, and recently got the itch again to play again.
had a friend that mentioned it to me. I checked it out like a year later when i got my own computer. What intrigued me is when he said that it's anything vs anything.
I started at Mugen by accident (in 2012, I think) because I was looking for a Dragon Ball Z PC game and found a compilation of several characters from the franchise, plus Ryu as a bonus.
Then, when I started to understand a little more about Mugen, I never stopped and I’m still here today.
From the mugen lord guy. The brutha with the long hair.
youtube has sent me here
I waused to look at footage of fighting games i couldn't play and stumbled upon Peter Griffin vs. Homer video in like 2008. And then everything spiraled from there.
Only got into actually playing it around 2019.
i remember that i was watching a tutorial about custom materials for gmod, then, for no reason at all, i entered on the channel of the guy who made the video, then i saw a gameplay of it, it was two cartoon characters fighting, and their color pallete was diferent compared to the original one, then i thought that it was just a bootleg game, so then i asked the name of the game and i download link, the guy said it was mugen, and the download link lead me to mugen archive, then i did not downlaoaded the game because i was scared of getting virus, then months later, an youtuber by the name of "Gemaplys" made a character to game, and he also explained what it was about, then after the video i just continued my life, more months later, and in one night, i said to myself "hey, why not try mugen?", well, you can figure out the rest.
I saw Afro's vids and wanted to give it a try
