Personally I'm a Playstation guy. I think the controllers are better and there's a better selection of games (more specifically, exclusives) for the Playstation than there is for XBox.

PlayStation has been killing it lately with the exclusives, right now the PlayStation is king, but who knows Xbox has a chance of coming back.
I was PlayStation for years (PS 1,2 and 3).
Once I would have said Playstation, because the X-Box (indeed Microsoft) has killed creativity and imagination in the world of video games. Today, I say, none of the two, because Sony has decided to follow the footsteps of Microsoft.
I am an owner of a Ps1, Ps2 and Ps3..
but still, i don't actually care for consoles...
The Games itself are what is important.
I believe that many here have or had a PlayStation in their childhood (I still have my PS1 and PS2 with me), but I like more is to look for and play games that deserve our respect, regardless of whether it is PlayStation, XBox or any other consorle.
PlayStation, even if I'm really disappointed about anything Sony made after PlayStation2 (for many reasons I will ignore now).
XBox looks like Microsoft wanted to get into gaming after Sega quitted, forgetting that they could have made game-optimized PC's (with upgradable hardware) instead of a console whose controller is strange af.. I mean: I always hated those candie-like glossy buttons with that SNES-like layout (also: LB,RB, LT, RT, WTF keep it simple)
Another thing I don't understand: XBox, then XBox360, then XBoxOne. I guess next one will be XBox Prototype, then XBox Concept, then XBox2.... according to logic. :grin:

Well, a game with platform heroes... that makes sense. Also Gex, Banjo/Kazooie, Klonoa, Croc, Rayman would fit the roster imho. But no Solid Snake and no more than 3 char for franchise, that would make it balanced. (k, /offtopic)Quote:

My selection would be more like with this scheme: hero (with helpers), anti-hero (same), unlockable char (no helpers)
Crash (with helpers Coco,the mask, the tiger/polar bear, etc..), Cortex (no helpers, just minions, weaponry or mecha-transform). Dingodile unlockable.
Spyro (with helpers Hunter, Ancient Dragons, that girl from spyro 3), Ripto (with minions and bosses as helpers). Cynerea unlockable.
Sonic (same), Dr Robotnik (same). Unlockable: the whole Virtua Striker 2 FC Sega Team (lol, there's a hidden joke here for those who know Virtua Striker series).
Mario, Bowser. Link unlockable (because, you know... Zelda is not really a platform game and it makes some hype anyway).
Then I would add other characters like Gex, Banjo/Kazooie, Croc, Rayman, without the scheme before (so just the heroes, no anti-heroes per series).
Final unlockable char: VIB RIBBON.

Some day big companies will start working on "thematic bundles", imho. Like: all ninja characters from different series in the same game, all fighter girls in the same game, all evil characters in the same game, and so on... we can expect that.
