Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
I don't know which has been the worst movie I have seen but the most recent and surely in my top would be this one:

Such a disrespect in Bruce Willis reputation, if you are curious, honestly DON'T WATCH IT! I felt robbed when I watched it.

For some reason, i thought you were going to say "Such a disrespect in Bruce Lee" and i was confused because i never watched a Bruce Lee movie i didn't like.

Probably the worst movie I have ever seen in my life was one that I cannot name. But it is one of horror, although I like horror and morbid, I do not like when it is used in the sense of offending or humiliating someone real peoples. In addition, instead of horror it is also usually considered as "comical" which does not make much sense. There is also a lot of male desecration in this movie. (I hate the culture of cancellation and the SJW). Not to mention, the cast of actors is terribly mediocre. Extremely ridiculous scenes. Scenes where he tries to put ideologies in mind in people. Scenes really forced to humiliate or show someone's evil. Anyway, I think this movie has everything bad that one can find.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
I've seen a very old movie with practically a zero dollar budget, and so unintentionally creepy, that it counts for some old-fashioned nightmare fuel. The movie is called Fun in Balloon Land (1965) and dear God... Where I even begin. It barely qualifies as a film, has barely any story, overuse of footage from a recent Philadelphia balloon parade as filler, and balloon designs that probably may come alive to haunt your dreams. Some people even call it a horror movie even though wasn't intentionally made to be one. And the narrator for the film's parade sequence won't shut up and sounds like she's high on something. I even wrote a review for this movie for a film class I took a while back ago. My teacher thought it was pretty funny.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
Grown Ups 2 had absolute zero value which I don't really see often. Unless it's a real cheapass action movie. And I am no hater, I liked the first one a lot and several Sandler movies too.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
The Goblin Slayer movie, it kind of just felt like an overly long episode and the ending was kind of disappointing

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
Sorry for bumping this thread, but:
I stan Filmation most of the time, an American company, but like...
Their Snow White movie was godawful.
I also agree with the Rapsittie Street Kids one, even though I'm making them into MUGEN characters because I have a thing about making MUGEN characters out of everything and not releasing them TBH.
Can I just say that the 2020 version of "The Witches"... bad CGI but kinda meh.
---
Also some older (and newer) Canadian 'toons are gonna be made into a cinematic universe, according to a Nelvana copyright claim in the Canadian copyright registry, and they're already casting for them...
Can I just say that what I've heard of the Sidekick movie sounds just absolutely awful?
(The show was considered 'not that much better', tbh, but turning what's basically Ren and Stimpy meets Boku no Hero Academia into superhero Riverdale... not into that. Some people will love it, but it just sounds awful.)
(Most of the movies in this universe sound awful, tbh. The Detentionare and Carl Squared movies sound equally as awful because you know they're probably also gonna be YA teen drama films with what makes the shows the shows being pushed to the background...)

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
That recent Ghost Busters movie. Absolute rubbish. The main characters were stupid stereotypes, everybody else in the movie was either an a-hole or an irritant, humour aimed at dim 5-year-olds, and there was nothing that came close to the memorable imagery or clever storyline of the original.
I might add that recent Nightmare on Elm Street remake. They had a chance to do something new and bold with the idea, but they went and blew it what seems more like a fan project than a new movie, recycling old stuff with none of the skill of the original. And the new Freddy just looks like someone wearing an ill-fitting mask straight from a Halloween shop. Not only that, but he is far too slightly built to play Freddy (when you see him in silhouette he looks like a teenager dressed as Freddy), and he has none of the original's presence or charisma.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
2 Sci-fi ones I can name off the top of my head,
Blade Runner 2049:
Main guy K, Joe just sucks he lacks anything that can make him a good character, The dude literally goes on a rampage over his Virtual Wife getting destroyed. not to mention how freaking slow the plot was, man was it a sleeper. And last but not least the over-advertising of Harrison Ford. (The dude was in the movie for no more then 30 mins. for an almost 3 hour movie. And then it ends of a cliff hanger to lead to aliens somehow?) I hate this movie and it is not worth it to even be called a Bladerunner sequel.
Ad Astra:
This movie sucked and I don't care if people tell me (oh that was the point, "the what if alien life" bullshit) This movie was advertised as an action sci-fi and good story and guess what? It too was a sleeper, slow, lack of character development on any of the characters, everyone felt very cardboard or the bare minimum was done for them besides oh this guy bad this guy good oh this guy traitor, and the Main Character was just too good nothing every happened to him besides being jailed once in the movie then escaping. Tommy Lee Jones just sucked here and He knows how to do sci-fi look at Men in Back and tell me he doesn't know how to act in a sci-fi flick? all in all this one sucks too and I would say skip it.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
Some of the shark movies that seem to be everywhere now. Of special note is Jurassic Shark, a film which managed to lead to a couple of sequels proving these kinds of movies are so cheap they don't even need to sell very many DVDs to make a profit.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
The worst movie I ever saw that I couldn't believe was in an actual movie rental place was called "feeders" Someone got paid to release the garbage, I could have made a better movie and I have 0 experience.

Basically any Adam Sandler movie after big daddy, with the exception of Funny People co-staring Seth Rogan and Jonah Hill

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
The Netflix adaptation of death note.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
In terms of retro movies I'll admit Caddyshack II did NOT need to be made... The original has always been a classic in its own right but it lost its sense of everything in the sequel..
Ted Knight passed away before it was filmed
Rodney Dangerfield declined to appear...
And because of these two facts, Bill Murray also declined..
So many notable actors not in it and it's just not the same or even funny without any of them tbh....

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
I want to say Yu-Gi-Oh! The Pyramid of Light, but the only BAD part of that movie is just Seto Kaiba in general. Seriously, Kaiba tried to end the world over CARDS. I swear, early that morning - before the events of the movie happened - Kaiba just chugged three whole bottles of whiskey and said: "Yeah! Let's find this stupidly powerful trap card that can stop the Egyptian Gods and try to end the world with it!"
In terms of actual bad movies though, if you've watched the MST3K episodes with Invasion of the Neptune Men & Hobgoblins... yeah. Those are infamous.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
D-war. I still don't understand the movie's director's intended theme.
The only advantage is that the scene where the imugi(dragon) appears is cool.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
Wow, D-war, i remember being there when someone at home was watching it, can't rember anything other than a big snake.

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
1. Dark Crimes (2016) · 2. Jaws: The Revenge (1987) · 3. The Last Days of American Crime (2020) 4. Halloween

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
I think the worst movie I have ever seen is Where The Dead Goes To Die the things me and my friend saw in that movie is beyond ****ed up which I won't talk about it here because there are things that might get me banned but still don't watch that movie

Re: What are some of the worst movies you've ever seen?
"Wall Street". What was all the fuss about? Maybe people who are obsessed with the stock market or money in general will find it thrilling, but I was bored all the way through it. Also, "Lake Placid: Legacy". This has absolutely nothing to do with the previous movies, and seems as if the name was tacked onto an unrelated movie they knew was rubbish to help it sell.

"The Beast of Yucca Flats". An atom bomb goes off and as a result ex-wrestler Tor Johnson is lurching about looking for something resembling a plot. It's more or less a silent movie with a few bits of narration now and again. Johnson apparently gave up acting after this movie. Wonder why.
"Jitterbugs". Supposedly a Laurel and Hardy movie, but they're just playing the occasional bit of comic relief in a movie which seems more interested in some female singer and the usual kind of naff gangsters which seemed to inhabit L & H movies during their wan years when they were employed by Fox. The comic pair themselves are visibly ageing due to not being allowed to wear their "pancake" make-up during their Fox years.
"Buck Privates". More or less an hour-long army recruitment film with the occasional bit of not-very-funny comic relief from Abbott and Costello (think Laurel & Hardy's poor relations).
I could have added "The Mighty Gorga", but this is just so bad it's a good laugh. Marvel at the budget that apparently wouldn't run to the bottom half of a gorilla suit for the Kong knock-off (the actor playing him is clearly wearing jeans). Not to mention the toy plastic T-Rex being waved in front of the camera.

Well anyway, there is disgusting scenes throughout the whole movie, one particular scene where I briefly saw the guy picking up dog dew-dew and eating it, one uncut shot from the dog to the guys mouth. It was totally real. I almost threw up. It even appeared again on Mojo's top 10. Amazingly it wasn't #1 in the list :/
But yeah i saw bits and pieces one terrible night where i couldn't sleep. I think it was on the sundance independent film maker channel like 5 years ago maybe? Totally regret not changing the channel sooner. I think the film's point was to show the reality of the worst of humanity maybe? But it was just extreme internet snuff and probably illegal "art" at it's core.
Not saying that I could or would but I wouldn't disagree if the guy and the film crew were shot. That's how terrible it was. I'd rather watch ghostbusters (2016) or some other film considered awful these days. Seriously. X(
