I am from Ecuador and forgive me but my English is regular-medium and right now I am using xd translator

I come in search of knowledge to create my own chars and share them

Why did I decide to register?
Simple I felt limited when I thought about models of chars and their attacks and I thought about looking for a community and see their opinions

Will you be active?
Let's see my internet is not the best one we can say ... but it's not bad either, so if it's as much as possible (since we're not all people with a lot of free time ...)

I make some Character from mugen: Lucy Fernandez and Lord Ravenous.
Today I want to make my Own Games, and I Use Mugen to Study this, but use another engine.

My engliss is very bad.

Howdy, I'm a veteran Mugen player who had taken a break, lost his computer, and wanted to regain Mugen back into his life.
I used to make edits to characters and even tried my hand at making new characters. I don't have any of those files anymore though.

Hey everyone, I'm Mugeningen (as you can see by my name), I've tried playing mugen before but have only gotten this *involved* with mugen just recently. I only spend time on mugen just playing on single player (because I have no friends that live near me woot woot) and I don't get too involved with stuff online, mainly because I like to keep quiet. However, due to certain circumstances and situations, it looks like that I'll have to be posting here often just to download files, which honestly isn't much of a problem for me, so yeah. I'd like to get more involved with contributing to mugen but I'm nowhere near confident (or have knowledge) on how to create characters or palettes, whether they're edits or original creations (the latter being what I'd like to do), I like creating artwork sure but as of lately it looks like I'm more of a composer than I am a visual creator haha, so yeah unless dropping original .mp3 files is worth contributing then I can't really do much at the moment in terms of adding files here. Anyway, have a nice day/noon/evening/night/etc. everyone.

Hey, pretty new to MUGEN scene, and just found this place from googling different wonderful characters people have made public for rest of us. It's been pretty amazing few days so far from everything I'm found that's on MUGEN.

My son and I both love all the possibilities.

Hello, I am a 24 year Scottish-born programmer, modder, musician, techy guy with a house, a cat and a great smolder (Blue Steel style).

I like food, but I like keeping in shape, I like learning but I also like to be active, I like contradictions but I like things being simple. :drunkfriends:

I was introduced to Mugen through my Uncle when I was younger, thought it was a DBZ crossover game, found out it was a pretty neato engine. I have created 2 characters for my own personal use thanks to tutorials on Youtube.
I have an issue when it comes to talking, I talk too much, I like to plan and discuss topics, projects and events. Often people like my open-ness, as I don't try to be confrontational in my approach, but in todays climate, oh boy, people tend to want confrontation and over-reaction. You wont find that from me, I keep myself pretty level headed, but I don't get pushed over that easily either, always keep to that middle road folks!

So I came here initially to get some of the rarer Mugen characters out there, but now I am here to have a poke around, gather KNAWLEDGE and hopefully meet some people to add to my F.R.I.E.N.D 1.1 collection. :pleasantry:

I'm new to Mugen, but I'm loving it so far. I'm even working on my own character at the moment. It's going to take a lot of work though since I'm doing all of the art and animation myself, but it'll be worth it. Maybe I'll even do the sound design.

Well.. I'm new to the Mugen archives, so hi I guess. I'm no creator, and I'll probably have nothing to contribute, but I do have interest with the game, so I download characters from here every now and then, since the chars around here are pretty decent.

Heck, who knows.. Maybe I might even contribute something on here once I get the knowledge and know-how.

Don't attack the moderators

Don't whine in front of people over MUGEN (We're here to have fun not complain)


Do comment and give constructive criticism to creations

Do encourage others to post more or make more characters

Hello, i am yifferman before calle in another forum as mr zero , or Gencio, i has some years since i do a character and , i see new things, like new HD stages and another things, when i see character of 7 or 8 mb, now i see one of 100mb. much things to see and why not try create again.

Hi there! I joined the site a few weeks ago, but I hadn't done much, just download a bunch of characters and left. This site offers a lot of content and is fairly easy to navigate, so I'd like to contribute some more, though most of the time I don't really know what to post. I'd like to try and make a character someday -I have a few ideas-, but I haven't had much time to put the effort into making it. Hopefully I get to finish it and post it in these forums. I'd really like to offer something, even if it's only a little! But I digress. Have a nice day!

Hello. Just an old timer trying to relive the glory days and play some games from when I was a kid. This was a big deal to me back in '04-05. If you knew what MUGEN was back then it was safe to say you would make friends pretty easily. I'll never forget the look on some of my friends faces qhen I would add new characters and invite them over to play. It was a constantly evolving arcade fighter that you could customize to fit your preference. I can't tell you how many keyboards I wore out playing this game back in school.

I'm KingStupidity, though on other sites/games I might also be known as KingLogar. Either one works for me. As for who I am, just a university student with a passion for fighting games and coding, though I have yet to learn/code anything for MUGEN. I am working on an arcade build based off IMT Blue screenpack, but maybe I'll get around to working on MUGEN things.

Hiya! I am Kirbyfan45, and I just got into MUGEN. I am usually an easy-going guy, but can still be a little hot headed. I tend to prefer more fast paced characters for MUGEN with cool combos, but sometimes, well made, simple characters also work. I like Sonic, Kirby, Street Fighter, KOF, Smash Bros, Mario, and much more. I will try to do my best on here and will not try to start anything bad.:smile:

I use XBOX360 controller and it feels good, just as long as you don't mix up your punches and kicks, as it's only labeled as SEGA Saturn buttons.

Hello KungfuWaffle here. I'm a big fight fan as I enjoy watching combat sports and entertainment like boxing,UFC, and of course salty bet. It took a while to get into Mugen but once I finally understood how to customize things then it became quite fun. I also code a lot so I like sandbox games and games that you can customize and Mugen just happens to be one of them.

A bit new here, but I'm trying to hit new challenger so I can get some downloads for my growing mugen collection

Hi. First time poster because I've been made to feel guilty about lurking. I started with mugen well over a decade ago and built up quite a sizeable roster, but unfortunatly my hard drive took a massive dump so I had to start over. Now I'm using 1.0 rather than winmugen and it's so much better. Hopefully I'll post a fair bit around here, but only if I have the time and something of worth to say. I will start saying thanks when I dl something at least as thats the polite thing to do.

Hi, new to MUGEN. Since the new site changes I suppose I might as well start off strong and introduce myself here. It feels weird to join a spriting community in this day and age, but my love and nostalgia of the fighting games of yore can't be helped. Mortal Kombat is my favorite series, though I occasionally dabble in King of Fighters and anime fighters. looking forward to some unique character designs made by talented artists.

I have both a fight stick and a Logitech controller that was like $15, and i prefer using the controller for Mugen. Just a word of advice: change your settings in game for the joystick (controller), take a picture, then change in the mugen.cfg file. It will save you SOOO much time.

Hey all. I'm new here in this community. Personally, I've been on and off MUGEN over the course of nearly 10 years. I first witnessed the engine on YouTube when I first got a new computer for myself back in 2009. Later afterwards I came across MUGEN videos and it peeked my interest. Since then I've been hooked on MUGEN with some hiatuses and what not. For right now though I've just recently got back on thanks to me discovering this Smash Bros skin that you can apply on your engine and to me its pretty close of a rendition to the real game, all it's missing are items that you use. But anyway, glad to be here!

I got into this game when I saw some YouTube videos. A crossover fighting game that you can pit anybody against each other? SWEET!

My interests:

Genre: My favorite genre is Science Fiction, although I do like a bit fantasy. but I can enjoy almost all genres of media. I Like anything futuristic that has military, guns, tanks, mechas, space marines, spaceships, and war the most.

Gaming: I'm an avid gamer. My favorite videogames/videogame series include Halo, SMITE, Overwatch, Darkstalkers, StarCraft, Resident Evil, Ori and The Blind Forest, Marvel vs Capcom, and Super Smash Bros. No fanboy here. I will play and enjoy video game systems.

Anime: I'm a huge anime fan, I grew up with it. My faves include Macross, Mobile Suit Gundam, Halo Legends, Royal Space Force, Space Battleship Yamato (Star Blazers) Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, Outlaw Star, and Geobreeders.

My history in gaming: My first console I ever played was the PlayStation 1 and then the PS2. My first handheld was the Game Boy Advance SP. My first PC game was Halo: Combat Evolved. I also own a PS3 but I Don't play it that much. I owned an Xbox 360 since 2009 and the first game I played on it was Halo 3. My current flagship gaming device is the Xbox One. I have a not-so good computer that is only used to play classics like StarCraft: Brood War, Supreme Commander 1, Homeworld, and Halo: CE. I also own a Nintendo 2DS XL. I Have no money to buy a better PC and can't get a job yet because i'm still in school. I do not have a PS4 nor a switch because I'm mostly an Xbox guy and if I could I would've gotten them.

Favorite Movies and TV shows: Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, Apocalypse Now, Edge Of Tomorrow, War of The Words (2005), Star Trek as a whole, Star Wars, Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles, Transformers (Original G1), and many Disney films.

Books: As a very rare type of my generation I love to read. My favorites include Starship Troopers, War of The Worlds, American Gods, Lord of The Flies, To Kill A Mockingbird, and the Art of War.

Music: My taste in music is unparalleled. I like heavy metal, violin, piano, rock, guitar, techno, ambient, space ambient, tribal, flute, basically everything. Artists I like include but not limited to include Steven Cravis, Rammstein, Luca Turilli, Martin O/Donnell, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Josh Marohl, Orbital, Aphex Twin, Snoop Dogg, Elvis Presley, and The Trouble Notes.

Myself: I probably won't get on a lot because of school and homework. So I might be inactive a few days of the week or more. I like to meet new people and make friends. I like to get recommendations from people to explore new franchises.

My favorite Genre of Games is Action , stratergy ,Simulation ,Fighting games and sometime First-person shooter too

What I love about Mugen is it allow to freely create our own version of battle and the story we choose . I usually value the gameplay and quality more than the graphics,sound and Mugen is just what Iam was looking for :love:

In My Oppinion this is the best forum of Mugen that I have Know :love: and hoping it will alway be :love:

i am KnightRedolent. i recently joined the Archive since i finally decided to get MUGEN, which i wanted to do like 5 years ago but didn’t take time to figure out because i wasn’t thinking much (i was young too). i got the basics of MUGEN setup down, that is, adding chars and stuff, balancing chars & resizing. i intend to learn what i can to become a creator, as i already have an OC i’m working on (only have part of moveset planned, no sprites or anything yet). it’s been fun so far, and i look forward to getting into creation and into the community. pleasure to meet you all

I'm not particular;y interesting, but I came across this a while back, and have recently wanted to try it again, ther really isn't another engine like this. About me, well, memes, anime, manga, books, TV, games, just like everyone else, I guess, heheh.

Hello there (hopefully) former lurkers, as a (hopefully) former lurker I'd like to introduce myself! I discovered mugen around 3 years ago and have sorta been hooked ever since. I don't play the game so much as I like collecting characters and having the AI compete against each other. I've been playing around with the idea with curating characters in order to make a sorta sports league out of it. While I'm here I would like get a better understanding on how the AI works in the game, I've looked at a few coding threads on other sites so any help there would be appreciated. Hope to have a good time!
