I just joined this site today. I've only recently found out about MUGEN and I am hooked. The biggest appeal of fighting games for me was playing all the different characters and modes, and after looking around this site I'm excited to see so many ways that this game can be modded and used. Any tips for starting out, or recommendations on builds to start with?

I play a ton of games and M.U.G.E.N is something I began to get interested in when I found out that a lot of my favorite anime characters have been ported to it even if they were never in a fighting game to begin with (shoot out to the guy who made Kamijou Touma).
My interests are: Video games, music and anime.

Heya. Name's Riley. I go by Gikkingen on some sites and Moro on others. I just recently heard about MUGEN because of a Brad Armstrong character release on Youtube, so I figured I'd check it out.
Seems pretty interesting.
Might as well step out of the shadows, name's Skorda (Krayne was an old name). I made this account way back when I first got into mugen then took a huge hiatus from it, but now I seem to be more active. Sometimes I do level design and as of now I make stages for fun, i'd be happy to share my latest one, though I highly doubt anyone will get what it is. Oh, I also do theme park / resort photography as a hobby sometimes, perks of being in central Florida. I hope I can be a valid contributor to the community and I can't wait to share some ideas and other jazz.

I've been playing around with Mugen since I was a kid, but these days I've taken a backseat to it.
I've always wanted to make my own character, but I never had the patience to figure out how to code or draw all those sprites.
Maybe one day, but I'll just stick to playing for now!
Hey, the name's Vanta. I've been into fighting games most of my life, but I'm kinda garbage at them. Once I first stumbled upon MUGEN, I basically haven't stopped messing around with it. While I'm not one for the whole forum posting thing, I might actually start making the effort to talk to people.

it. I used to have a Capcom character select in it, I can't find it now. But I won't be here for just downloads, I will be posting in the forums as much as
possible!
You can not download files for two reasons only. First of all you need to switch from lurker status to that of new challenger. And tyou can not download during community weekends. That's all. Try to be an active user in the forums and you will see that you will become new challenger very soon and you will not have any kind of problem for the downloads anymore.Quote:

I've been interested in Mugen for a long time, (as my join date will tell you) but I never really got into trying to learn until recently. I come in hopes to learn new tricks from experienced creators, so I'm not just making edits of characters anymore.
