Introduction thread

so uhhm... hi, im just some random guy who wanted to play a fighting game that isnt smash bros, and a friend of mine recommended this Mugen thing to me.... and i got to say, im really likin it :D

I've been with MUGEN for a while now. You might know me as TheMisdreavusLord or TheSlkMugen. I made a lot of rushed and poorly made works back then. I've watched a lot of videos by professional MUGEN creators, read articles and forum posts, and I want to be able to be a decent maker.

I also play a good bit of Pokemon and am fond of animation and gaming in general.

I made this account a few years ago, now that I got my password back, I decided to make a few changes to it, like completing it more, and try to release some actual characters.
My first character was this retarded The Chosen One character wich I drew myself in Flash. The animations were bad, they weren't fluid, he didn't even have any specials and hypers.
Then I did a Dooby Dummy soundpack, then nothing else was known from me anymore...

But now I decided to return.

Hello to everyone here.

I'm particularly on the returning-new to Mugen, since I joined back in Nov. 2016, but I never got the chance to introduce myself until now.

I guess for starters, I've been playing Mugen ever since 2006 and I mostly remember gathering characters/stages/sounds via esnips, which was one of the only sources for getting mugen stuff back then, next to ucoz's mugen character site where I went and download some anime characters stuff like Naruto, One Piece, etc.

I have not played Mugen for quite a while probably because of college stuff, and some other interests like new games, youtube videos, and stuff. Until now, I went and redownloaded Mugen and added a screenpack (forgot what it's called, but it gives a lot of character slots), and have added characters like Spiderman, Dee Bee Kaw, Jojo characters, etc.

I'd love to make my own Mugen characters, but I'll probably have to learn a lot about how the Fighter Factory program works, take notes on scripting, and really learn how to make my own sprites as well.

And yeah, that's all I got for now.
