The MUGEN ARCHIVE has a very large, well documented and well organized download area which you can browse per category.
Alternatively, you can use our internal search engine if you are a registered member.

Can I upload something?

You can upload content related to MUGEN or MUGEN development : characters, stages, add-ons, utilities or sprites for example.

Do I need a formal permission from the MUGEN creators or from the copyright holders?

Whether you're a MUGEN creator or a mere uploader, you won't need a formal permission as long as you stick to the fair use doctrine. The MUGEN ARCHIVE is an official not-for-profit organization and is as such compatible with the fair use doctrine. You can therefore upload your MUGEN content to the MUGEN ARCHIVE without a formal permission.

DCMA complaint

The MUGEN ARCHIVE is an official not-for-profit organization and is as such compatible with the fair use doctrine. DCMA complaints will be dismissed if the content is compatible with the fair use doctrine. The content will however be removed if it can cause a financial harm to the copyright holders.
