MP3 - MPEG Layer III
This file format is famous and known as MP3 file format with the extension .mp3. MP3 is one of the most used music file formats in the world on the Internet. It is one of a kind of file format that is widely used on various devices and platforms. However, there are some aspects of a .mp3 file that make it lagging behind WAV and WMA.

MP3 is a compressed music format file. This type of file contains compressed audio data, one of the main reasons why it is not the best. It gives a quality sound with a loss of frequency.

The reason behind the MP3 file format is to cut access data in terms of frequency. The access data would be a frequency slightly higher than the auditory radius of the human ears. To do this, the files are compressed and the sound quality decreases. A normal human can perceive up to 20 KHz, but it is believed that the general limit is 18 KHz, as well as the MP3 file format.

WAV - WAVE from Audio format
This is the most popular format for most artists and sound engineers. It is one of the best audio file formats due to its audio quality without loss of data. The upper limit of the WAV file is up to 22 KHz which, some people with trained ears can detect. This can be natural with many people listening to frequencies around 22 KHz.

This file format is standard for PC audio. It stores data in a block as riffs and is encoded with PCM or Pulse Coded Modulation. These WAVE files are of a cumbersome nature and minuscule errors when saving, copying or using a faulty WAV player causes the file to be deleted or lost. If it happens then, restoring wav files can be a task for you. To avoid damaging WAV files, always keep your focus while working with them.

WAV files are almost uncompressed files, but not always. Many times the file is compressed even with MP3 contained in the compressed audio file. but for most WAVE files there is an uncompressed file with the PCM encoded format.

This file format is preferred by most technicians during studio recordings and DJs. WAV files contain more details and you can get a more precise sound with it.

WAV format is very bad due to file size. It's only good to add sounds to the chars.
In my opinion, the best sound format for stages are MP3 and OGG, the sounds come out in a better quality and the size is quite low.
