Hi scrub tier question here but i have always wondered how to do the Shoryuken move with a controller or arcade stick the motion seems confusing to me.
Typically I double fireball motion in to button but that is also how you typically do your Super.
Any helpful tips?

I remember the first time I pulled out a shoryuken in a fight with a friend, as he was actually impressed lol
we considered it pretty advanced stuff back then

I can imagine but damn just looking at the input just makes no sense.

the exact input is : front, then down, then the down-front diagonal + punch

what may be confusing is there's no continuity and the motion stops at a diagonal, that was a pretty revolutionary move back then, but keep in mind the dp was originally invincible and not meant to be easy to pull out

no worries though, you'll get used to it, it's really not that hard, in fact :wink1:

Shouryuuken in pattern of special move with the punch was important.
Using directional pad using Z to input a move, or just front + down + down front and in any punches. Even Shin Shouryuuken or Messatsu Gou Shouryuu to input Super Attacks.
However, difficult to access the special move nor super attacks.
