So, I was wondering...Is there a way to control what characters you fight? Maybe make the fight count larger? Im using EvE mugen. And I have a bunch of boss type characters that I don't get to fight often, and would like to be able to control when they show up. Like every third fight or something. I want to increase the amount of matches it takes to end the arcade mode as well. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Just try it and you'll know soon enough. :smile2:

Don't be afraid of experimenting, this is usually the fastest way to learn with mugen.

IIRC, yes you can assign a stage to a character, and not have it listed in extra stages. The only difference is the assigned stage won't be used randomly and won't be selectable in vs/training mode either. The later is usually a problem since most people would want to be able to select the stage.

Yea im having trouble setting up the order. I dunno it confuses me. it goes from 3 down to 0 So does that mean, I need to put the weaker characters with zero's? And then as they get stronger increase the number? -shrugs.- I dunno, I also need to add a sound pack to my game. The characters talk and what not, but theres no music with the fighting. Any suggestions? Im using EVE 1.0 I believe

This is a sequence and you can change every value.

Some examples :

1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1
You will fight 1 char set at order=1, then 1 char set at order=2, then....., then 1 char set at order=9, and finally 1 char set at order=10

3,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1
You will fight 3 char set at order=1, then 2 char set at order=2, then....., then 1 char set at order=9, and finally 1 char set at order=10

0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,3
You will fight 0 char set at order=1, then 1 char set at order=2, then....., then 2 char set at order=9, and finally 3 char set at order=10

You usually would want to set weaker characters at order=1, and mid-bosses or bosses at higher orders. You can set as many character as you want to any given order, but you usually would want to set only one at your highest order to make it the the guaranteed final boss.

A setting example for 1 mid boss and 1 final boss :
5,1,3,1,0,0,0,0,0,0
This will make you fight 5 chars set at order=1 (your 1st tier chars)
then 1 char set at order=2 which could be your guaranteed mid boss as long as you set only one character at that order,
then 3 chars set at order=3 (your 2nd tier chars),
and finally 1 char set at order=4 which could be your guaranteed final boss as long as you set only one character at that order.

For a total of 5+1+3+1 = 10 battles.

Of course you can have more tiers and/or more battles if you want. I think you get the picture now?
